Description | Therapy Dog Prep School is designed to evaluate and train teams for Therapy Dog Work. This six week class will help prepare teams for testing with national Therapy Dog Organizations. You must be a K9 Home Schooling student and have instructor approval to enroll in this class.
Michelle McCarthy is a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and Therapy Dog Consultant with the IAABC. She has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience working with Therapy Dogs. Therapy Dog Consultants have expertise raising, training and preparing dogs for careers in Therapy dog work. Michelle helps clients prepare their dog for testing with national Therapy Dog Programs. Michelle provides consulting services for facilities and staff to help them develop and run successful programs. Michelle has raised and trained dogs who work and volunteer in hospitals, nursing homes, schools and libraries. |
